This has to be my all time favourite restaurant in Newcastle!
I just love everything about it, from the moment you walk in you are transported to what I would call an old english garden.
The attention to detail is amazing.
As soon as I walked through the door the first thing I noticed was this life sized tree in the centre of the bar that looked like it had been taken straight from a fairy tale. Above the tree is a giant glass dome, that adds to the garden theme and makes it look like an old victorian green house.
And the food! Is to die for..
The menu is filled with all sorts of options and if you can't decided what to eat, or what cocktail to have just ask a member of staff! The staff went through three days of training and throughout that time they ate everything on the menu and drank the whole cocktail menu! (Thats my sort of training day!)
If you are planing a trip to Newcastle I would definitely recommend you treat your self to The Botanist!
But make sure you book!
We have a Botanist in Leeds and the cocktails are to die for!! The bar looks much grander in Newcastle! Will have to put it on the list :) Thanks for the recommendation.
